Being disappointed is all about perspective.

Being disappointed is all about perspective. It took me a long time to realize this. I was under the impression that if someone did something I didn't like, or a situation evolved that I wasn't happy with, then I had the "right" to be disappointed.....
So how do we change our perceptions? By becoming more aware of what your perceptions and beliefs are. You cannot change what you do not understand. So spend some time looking internally and when you become disappointed, think about what is disappointing you.

Is it really the situation or the person, or is it because they are not behaving in a way you believe they should behave? Then slowly as you do this, force yourself to look at the bigger picture of what is going on.

Force yourself to see the situation from a new perspective and offer positive spins on what has happened. I believe that the more you do this, the less you will be disappointed because you will stop taking things so personally.

You will also begin to realize that the way things turn out are the way things are supposed to turn out, whether they are in line with your beliefs or not. This will lead you to feeling more in control of your emotions as well as of your behaviors and actions.

You will also be able to use any challenge as an opportunity to grow, develop, and move your life forward, because you will not continuously be knocked down by disappointment.

Optimize about your Hope/Faith

A feeling that most people don't question
Because it's a sure road for every event's closure
We all wake up in the morning with the hope of good day ahead
Helps us overcome challenges and drifts us off into our bed
Sometimes moment to moment changes jeopardize hope
The more you hang on the sooner you'll be at the end of the rope

For some hope is believing in beyond comprehension
That things work out eventually with letting go of tension
They feel that one door closes and many doors open
The road becomes bigger, you have more than one option
Impossible things suddenly change into a reality
That's the definition of hope, known for its beauty
I have heard people calling it as sanguineness
For me it helps steer away from hopelessness
Some poets define it as buoyancyFor me
it's a simple process even though sound's fancy

The more flexible you are the more it becomes clear
You hang on to that ultimate thread with no fear
You develop this stamina and inner strength

Life becomes easy irrespective of painful lengths
Each person has his own way to hope
Whatever helps him to follow through and cope

You have to march along no matter what
Knowing that it's hope that pulls you through the rut
So good or bad, always hang in there
Moments will change but the hope hat you must wear
One day you'll look back and say wow I did it
You'll wonder how and hope will say bit by bit.

Several months ago I was involved in a serious auto accident. In addition to broken bones, my internal organs suffered deep "bruising". As a result of the damage to my intestines, my bowels would not function as they had prior to the accident. I was taking an herbal remedy to promote regularity at least twice weekly.

I have been drinking my Xtreme X20 treated water for a little over a month now, and I am completely off my herbal remedy. I don't understand it, but I am not debating the results.

This is an exceptional product.

I live in the San Joaquin Valley in California and we have lots of agriculture.  At the end of summer around August/September they start the English Walnut harvest. It creates an enormous amount of dust pollution in our atmosphere.  This pollution along with other polluting agents, like harvesting corn, defoliating cotton and even the pollution from thousands of milk cows, blankets the valley.

We all have to breathe air that causes upper respiratory problems for many people.  The majority of people living here from children to seniors suffer with some form of allergy problems; asthma, sinusitis, headache and even sinus infections, which can be very debilitating.

I am usually affected badly enough to have to be checked by a doctor once or twice during this time of the year and treat the problems with antibiotics. It was different for me this year, not one doctor's appointment was necessary!

I normally take prescription allergy medicine but haven't needed any yet.  I sneezed a few times, but that was all. No infections this year, not even a headache.
The harvest season is over and the only thing I changed or did different this year was drink Xtreme X2O everyday.

I rest better at night and generally feel better throughout the day than I have in years past.

I feel that drinking Xtreme X2O is the biggest reason for my better health because I haven't changed anything else. Now I will never be without it for sure.

I highly recommend Xtreme X2O.  It has helped tremendously with my allergic reaction to cats.  I am asthmatic so being in the same room with a cat for a period of time has always been a problem for me.

After 2 months of taking Xtreme X2O in my water, I was able to wrap myself in a blanket that had cat hair on it (the same cats that I have previously had an allergy reaction to prior to taking X2O) without having an asthma attack or an allergy reaction of any kind.  I was amazed.

Additionally, I am post bariatric and was losing an extreme amount of hair 3 months post operatively as a result of a huge amount of weight loss.  As it turns out, the doctor said my hair would stop falling out at the year mark when my body stabilizes.  I am happy to say 6.5 months post operatively my hair has stopped coming out in clumps.  It is no longer dry and brittle, and looks healthy and shiny and is growing back beautifully.

Further my son has been diagnosed with ADHD and he takes Xtreme X2O in his water as well.  I have noticed, as has his teachers a shift in his attention span and his focusing; hence retaining more information, which has been reflected in his behavior and assignments.  Xtreme X2O has made a huge difference in our lives and I highly recommend it to anyone who is ready to take that leap for health, their life and their overall well being.

Optimize Is the glass half empty or half full?

We always seem to want those things we don't have. Moreover, we are often convinced that if we had those things we want so badly, we would finally be happy.
Is the glass half empty or half full?  Life and relationships work better when the glass is half full.  Below are some simple yet specific steps you can take to cultivate happiness and see the glass half full, regardless of your relationship status.

1. Be grateful
Create a sense of gratitude for what you have, for what is working, for what is wonderful and sweet in your life.  A morning or evening gratitude list, written each day, can do wonders for helping you feel grateful.
2. Take care of yourself
Identify the small things in life that make you feel good, and do one daily.  A short walk, a few minutes of writing in your journal, a short meditation, watching the sunset.  Whatever reminds you that you are a human being and not a human doing will improve your outlook on life.
3. Be creative
Creativity and self-expression generate happiness.  Schedule some creative time each day, even if it's just a few minutes of writing, painting, sculpting, etc.
4. Move
Moving our bodies generates feel-good hormones called endorphins.  Move a little every day to stay happy.
5. Get someone to take care of you
It feels good to be taken care of, even in small ways.  Get a massage, a manicure, someone to carry your groceries, launder your clothes, or fix something for you.
6. Read inspirational material
It helps to be reminded of positive thoughts and positive attitudes.  Get a small book of positive, inspirational thoughts and keep it by your desk.  Read one or two thoughts each day.
7. Contribute
Stand up for something that matters to you.  Contributing, making a difference feels good.  It boosts your self-esteem, your gratitude and feeling of well being.
8. Get some time
I know this one is hard, especially if you are a single parent.  But if you are determined, you can find some time every day to just be.  Make sure you do this - it will make a big difference in your ability to be happy.
9. Be in nature
Nature rejuvenates and restores the human spirit.  Whether your brand of nature is mountains or the ocean, give yourself the gift of visiting it frequently.
10. Be happy
No matter how many wonderful things you do to create a positive, happy, satisfied life, you could still end up unhappy.  Ultimately, happiness, gratitude, a feeling of satisfaction is a choice.  People often do not choose happiness.  Many feel refusing to be happy will somehow get them what whey want, like a child holding his breath.  Holding your breath will not get your what you want.  It is happiness that attracts.

The Key Attitude for Success .

There is one key factor that can do more to guarantee your success in life than anything else. That key factor is RESPONSIBILITY.
Responsibility in its widest sense is extremely positive. It means that YOU, and nobody else,  has control of your life. If you have control, then YOU can change things. You have the power. It is not in somebody else's hands - your wife, the government, your parents, your boss, your accountant, the stars....

Responsibility is not a popular doctrine. Instead, the world is full of people who give away their power to others by refusing to accept responsibility in their lives. They make excuses and find someone else to blame for their misfortunes or failed dreams.
They can give you an endless stream of reasons for why they failed to complete what they first began or, worse still, never began in the first place. Indeed, our society seems to be set up to cater for this sort of attitude. People can grow up and live an entire adult life without once learning this vital lesson so imperative to their happiness.
The sad thing about this attitude is that whilst it seems to serve us well, it really does not. You may certainly get a sympathetic ear for a while. People may even agree that you're quite right. However, in refusing to own your part in events, you give away your power. To whom? Everyone and everything outside of you. If YOU are not responsible for the various events in your life, then who is? Answer: other people, enemies, random forces of nature, the stars, fate or anything else you care to name.
If this is true, then there is logically nothing you can do to improve your situation.  You are only going to get slapped down every time you try to achieve anything worthwhile.  So why bother?  Sadly, that is usually how people who take no responsibility for their own lives end up thinking.

The result for people who think this way is that they soon end up with "learned helplessness" and are rendered incapable of striving for any worthwhile goal. They lose the capacity to believe in themselves.
Whenever something happens in your life, for good or ill, tell yourself, "I am responsible." Then ask yourself, "How am I going to handle this?" However bad a situation may be, if you repeat to yourself as an affirmation, "I am responsible", then you begin to look to yourself for the way out instead of to external forces.  In truth, you are looking in the right direction. You ARE the true manifestor of your own destiny.

This is the way to take control of your life instead of leaving it in the hands of blind forces. It may sound hard or callous at times. However, it is not. You are not saying, "It's all my fault." Rather, you are saying, "I have the power to affect my life - for good or ill - and I choose to consciously exercise that power and take responsibility for whatever consequences I attract." How much better than blaming the stars, or your boss!

Once you take responsibility for everything that happens, you build a firm foundation upon which to build your long-term success. Leave the excuses for someone else. Set your face firmly in the direction of excellence. Take responsibility!
